Agreement
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you use LedgerCubby on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that firm.
Free trial and subscription
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with access to the LedgerCubby workflow and unlimited companies. The current new-subscriber Founding Member offer is $19.99 per month, charged in advance after the trial. Founding Member pricing remains in effect while the qualifying subscription remains active, subject to the offer terms shown at signup. Existing subscribers on legacy or grandfathered pricing continue under the price shown in their Stripe subscription unless they change plans or resubscribe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the end of the current paid period. Cancelling before the trial ends means you are not charged.
Refund policy
The 7-day free trial lets you evaluate LedgerCubby before any charge, so monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once billed. If you were charged in error, were double-billed, or cancelled but still saw a charge, email billing@ledgercubby.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review and refund eligible payments to the original payment method. Refunds are prorated only where required by law. Cancelling stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we keep your account open while our payment processor retries the charge and we show a notice in the app so you can update your card from the Billing page. If every retry fails, the subscription is cancelled and access ends; your data remains available if you resubscribe.
Ownership and intellectual property
LedgerCubby™ is exclusively owned and operated by MedTax Express Services LLC. The LedgerCubby name, branding, software, interface, original content and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms give subscribers a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of LedgerCubby or its underlying software.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter or import, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for having the right to process any client records you upload. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other accounts, or use it for unlawful activity.
Not professional advice
LedgerCubby is bookkeeping software. Categorization suggestions, review checklists and reports are tools that require your professional judgment. They are not tax, accounting, audit or legal advice, and you remain responsible for filings and financial statements produced from this data.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and to protect your data, but the service is provided as is without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We recommend exporting reports you need to retain independently.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including penalties resulting from filings you prepare.
Termination and changes
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms and will post the revised date above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
