Information we collect
We collect the account information you provide when you register (name, email address) and the bookkeeping data you enter or import: company profiles, chart of accounts, bank transactions, statements, sales entries, reconciliations and any documents you upload. We also collect basic technical data such as log timestamps needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your data
Your data is used to provide the service: storing your books, generating reports, producing categorization suggestions, and maintaining your account and subscription. We do not sell your data and we do not use your clients' financial records for advertising.
Data separation and access
Records are scoped to the account that owns them and access is enforced on the server with row-level security rules. Only your authenticated account can read or modify your companies' records. Uploaded documents are held in private storage and are not publicly reachable.
Service providers
We rely on infrastructure providers for hosting, managed database and storage, authentication, and — where you use the assistant and categorization features — AI model processing. These providers process data only to deliver the service on our behalf. Payment processing, when enabled, is handled by a third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
Retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete companies, transactions and documents at any time from within the application. If you close your account, contact us and we will delete your remaining data, except where we are required to retain records by law.
Your choices
You may request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Email requests reach us through the contact page and we respond within a reasonable period.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
